Francouzska (French Restaurant) is located inside one of Europe’s finest Art Nouveau buildings, the beautiful Municipal House, with huge windows looking out on to the newly renovated Republic Square.
Francouzska Restaurant transports you back to early 20th century finesse. Gold and crystal chandeliers hang from a high ceiling. Crisp white tablecloths and sparkling silverware draw you in, as immaculately dressed waiters attend competently to their guests’ every need. The restaurant’s name might translate as French Restaurant, but the menu is far more expansive and offers a unique gastronomique experience. Head chef Jirí Kral is captain of the National Team of Cooks and Confectioners of the Czech Republic. When he is not cooking for diners at the Francouzska Restaurant, he is providing catering services for the president of the Czech Republic!
