About Prague

Lvi Dvur Restaurant

Lvi Dvur RestaurantSet at the back of Prague Castle, in the beautiful Royal Gardens, Lvi Dvur Restaurant brings the spirit of 16th century Rudolfine Prague alive. Original period furnishings combined with modern day touches give the restaurant a very pleasant feel. Traditional Czech food is the order of the day, and Roast Pig on the spit is the speciality of the house.

Wash this down with a fine selection of quality vintage Moravian, Portuguese, French and Austrian wines. Lvi Dvur requires a fairly lengthy walk or a short tram ride (the tram stop is outside the restaurant) to reach it from the city centre. It does make for a nice trip though. This is an ideal restaurant for lunch as you visit the castle, or to escape the crowds in the evening. In the warmer months a large terrace opens, overlooking the castle gardens. Dine here and you will enjoy fine views of Vitus Cathedral and the Castle Towers.
